TOFFE VOORSTELLING

I wanna be better than the greatest. Greater than the greatest of all time. I close my eyes and I can see it, but I need more space. More light for more vision. ‘Cause reality’s living in me, and I’m sacrificial to this art. I persevere ’cause knowledge and insight never stop living in me.

I’m the sculptor of my vision, immersed in my creation. I’m the shaper of my dream, developing my legendary relevance. With discipline and driven by the beauty of these elements.

It was all a dream, and it began with a spark of inspiration. The beats, the art, and dance gave me new sensations. I watched documentaries, I listened to older records. Each time, deeply in my heart, I felt a blast. I knew hip-hop was something God-given: my home, my style, my at last.

I’m a hustler, I’m a, I’m a hustler. At first, I wandered this path alone, doubting my choices. Risking the obvious life I was shown. I explored the streets of my city, chasing that spark. Till connections in hip-hop lit this flame within my inner dark.

They told me, this hip-hop life ain’t for you, it has no future, no plan. Don’t be like those sons of man. But the hunger grew stronger each day. And what I saw was greatness on its way. All I needed was to find others like me, who dared to live on the wild side and live free.

Flashback to ‘89. Cousin throwin’ baby crimes. I was listenin’ to Chuck D, absorbin’ crazy rhymes. Cuttin’ outta school just to smoke weed. Shady mind. Radiatin’ lady dimes, bringin’ it 80 times. I maybe fine. ‘90, seen my tape deck swallowin’ Ice Cube tapes. ‘91, Geto Boys, Tribe never move fake. ‘92, I had a grimey crew; I started movin’ in.

Movin’ out da house, mama was losin’ him. Dre brought The Chronic, a different phonic was soothin’ him. Isn’t it ironic how demonic supersonics was groovin’ in… listen. ‘93, I seen a Black Moon shine. Drinkin’ Black Moonshine. Throwin’ up the Wu sign. Marauders in the midnight, down with the King, right?

On Black Sunday, I witnessed a Cypress Hill fight. ‘94 was hard to earn. Everything was Illmatic. Primo was the boss. Biggie’s album was the baddest. Scarface wrote The Diary, I’d never seen a man cry till I seen a man die, could never understand why.

Life as a shorty shouldn’t be so rough. ’95 was only built for Cuban Linx; it was enough. ’Cause it was me against the world. Big city of dreams. But everything in New York ain’t always what it seems. You might get fooled if ya come from outta town. My favorite album was Dogg Food, the joint by the Dogg Pound…

Sky is the limit, and you know that you can have what you want, be what you want.

Experiencing the underground scene was raw, and the energy loud. It brought out the best in me. And for the first time, I felt alive and proud.

The scene hit harder than TV screens could ever show. When hip-hop became my glow, the rhythm of my life began to flow.

It’s just me, myself, and I.

In the Realm of my Soul, I walk alone. Like in the city, a lone wolf on paths unknown. The world says to fall in line, to play their game. But I hear my own beat, I tag my own name.

I don’t follow other people’s choices, their whispers or lies. They say I’m deaf to their truth, blind to their way of life. But this hunger inside, this rhythm I chase. I feel it’s my lifeline, my dance, my place.

I stumble, I fall, but I always rise again. Each setback is a lesson, each loss is a win. What they see as the end, I call the start. A dead-end street turns into my art.

So I stand as I am, no need to belong. An outlaw, a rebel, but still standing strong. For in this disconnection, I’ve found my stay. A lone wolf, free! ‘Cause my inner struggles showed me the way.

Life’s a b****, and then you die! But what if life is just a battle, and I refuse to comply? I’m here, caught in the mix, tryna find my way. Drowning in sorrow, losing myself day by day. I hear the streets calling, cold and unkind. Demons whispering, “You’ll never find peace of mind.” But my soul? It’s tired of running, tired of the fight.

It’s time to face the shadows and step into the light. As I’m walking through the valley and the shadow of death. I take a look at myself and realize there’s nothing left. So I pause… I need to make a shift to align. A voice inside whispers, “Wake up, your purpose is divine.” My talent, my gift, that’s been the power all along! In the rhythm, in my style, in this truth I belong.

The streets taught me struggle, but the stage shows me grace. What once weighed me down, now gives me a place. I hear the crowd, I hear the beat, this is our vibe! And this is my redemption, from the street to the stage. I’ve been given this opportunity, raw and unspoken. Now I’m done with the sorrow, done with being broken! From the shadows I’ve conquered, to the light that I know. I rise, I listen, and I let the rhythm flow. So when life knocks you down, remember your purpose rising up. Keep your head high, ‘cause when you Got Skills, you never give up! Know the ledge.

In the middle of the noise, where the world goes wild. You step in the cypher, cool, calm, and styled. The bass is heavy, the streets are loud. But here, in this circle, you rise from the crowd.

Verse 1
Yo, it’s hard to listen when ya heart twistin’. In a world where the shadows talkin’, whispers hittin’. I’m in this cypher, demons lurkin’, minds shiftin’, Under the streetlights, you see my whole soul driftin’. The past, man, it’s creepin’, hands clutchin’ my throat. Doubt seepin’, fear speakin’, tryna sink my boat. I used to feel the weight heavy, now I’m searchin’ for air. But every time I spit, it’s like the demons aware.

They movin’, circlin’ tight, blockin’ my light. Whispers tellin’ me I’ll never take flight. I used to dream about the top, now I’m dreamin’ to fight. And every bar that I write is like battlin’ life. Stuck in this trance, the dance mimics my doubts. Movin’ in sync to every bit of fear I put out. Tryna rap my pain, but the voice ain’t clean. And in my mind, I’m trappin’ every scream I’ve seen.

Hook
It’s hard to listen when the noise too loud. Every thought weighin’ heavy like a blackened cloud. But I push through the storm, the rain, the shroud. Now my voice gon’ rise, I’ma make them proud.

Verse 2
Now the weight’s off my chest and I’m finally breathin’. I been stuck in a prison behind bars, now I’m leavin’. The darkness fades, man, I see through the lies. Every doubt, every fear, I let it vaporize. Still—I move through the cypher like I own this path. So you can witness another masterclass aftermath. My voice hits harder, cuttin’ all these chains, I used to be in shackles by invisible pains. Now I rise with the heat, climbin’ high like flames. Every scar is a victory, fresh blood in my veins.

I spit fire, every line heavy with truth, I ain’t the same man, I done burned through the roof. The crowd feel it too, they reflect my rise. From the silence to power, I redefined my skies. A new king born under this streetlight’s glow. ILLMATIC, eternal—now the world gon’ know.

Hook
It’s hard to listen when the noise too loud. Every thought weighin’ heavy like a blackened cloud. But I push through the storm, the rain, the shroud. Now my voice gon’ rise, I’ma make them proud.

They can’t knock the hustle. Chaos is all around me, but I steady the vibe. Flow sharp as a blade, as I cut through the tribe. The world’s spinning fast, and everything is in motion. But I move like water, I move with pure devotion. It ain’t about the volume, it’s all about the feel. I speak from the core—raw, straight, and real.

I’m different, yeah, I’m different. I don’t fit the mold, I don’t just follow straight lines. I’m bending those rules, letting creation give me life.

As long as I can hold on to discipline and willingness, the passion for the motion of expression runs deep, for what I love. And maybe I could spark a little light in someone’s heart. Just through creation and the freedom of my art.

Step into a world where there’s no one left but the very best. In this world of hiphop, through battles we rise. From rivals to friends, where legacies intertwine. Together we push forward, and as one we flow. Each lesson at the crossroad makes our culture grow.

We lay it down, brick by brick. From the concrete, where the sacred roots grip. To the sky where we aim, but sometimes slip. These are the blocks, the foundation of our trip. We move like wind through the city’s veins. Hands folded, lifting dreams, breaking chains. From nothing, we create—a beat, a break. A sound, a voice, another gift to awake. The silence, to make noise, to awake, the power in unity, the bond that we make.

Each block is a memory, each step a choice. In this cypher of life, we give hip-hop a voice. Brick by brick, block by block, we build this stage, so the DJ can rock. This is more than a booth; it’s a home, a temple of rhythm, where the gifted can roam. Where MCs spit truths, where graf writers paint, where the culture thrives, without constraint.

We carry the weight of each other’s dreams. We lift them high, as impossible as they seem. The booth… That’s the altar, but the blocks are ours. We’re the rising community, grown into power.

There’s this shadow that hangs over me, a looming fear. Not of heights or darkness, but of losing what is near. I scour the world, searching for a place to call my own. But in my quest, I fear my roots have lost their home. You see, home isn’t just walls, it’s the people I hold dear. And on this journey, I’m scared that “home” might disappear.

I know I can. Be what I wanna be. If I work hard at it, I’ll be where I wanna be. I think it’s beautiful… how growth sparks creation. And change became the force behind my innovation. There’s only one way up, and I’m ready to soar. I want it all, and I’ll rise, stronger than before. So watch me grow, watch me evolve. Every battle, every trial, I’ll face and resolve. I know I can. Be what I wanna be. And now I’m here… Right where I’m meant to be.

I got 99 problems, but giving up ain’t one. I’ll rise to the top; my journey’s just begun. There’s only one way up, so let’s get it done. I want it all, and I’ll take it all—and still be number one.

In this cypher, we are not the same. But that’s where the beauty lies, in the fire of the flame. Your rhythm, your style, and your own way to move, It’s what makes you you, in your uniqueness and your groove.

Don’t shy from the spotlight, let your differences shine. ‘Cause that’s where magic is born, in original design. We’re not here to conform, we’re here to stand out. And let the world witness what this thing of ours is all about.

In this circle, we see your truth, no fear. We celebrate your strength, to make the vision more clear. What makes you different makes you strong. In the cypher, there’s no right, no left, and no wrong. So embrace your anomalies and let the world see, that your uniqueness is your superpower, your key.

This spoken word is repeated in the scene to emphasize it.

I never really feel quite ready, so I keep walking in circles, never satisfied or steady. But in my heart, I know that I’m a warrior; I know what I can do, but I just don’t fit in like I used to. I’m caught up in the deception of perfectionism, and I’m walking with the rhythm of this God-given thing, I’m most driven by.

I’m living my dream, I’ve been forced to forgive myself for my procrastinating ways and inhibitions. But I’m here to claim my throne and my position. I’m not insecure, I’m self-critical, so take a listen. I’m back on my feet. And now my voice is on the streets where I’m a legend in the flesh and where the Kings and the Queens meet. We play for keeps, and I know I can… I’m the artist. MISSunderstood, but I’m gonna shine, and that’s a promise.
I’m living my dream, I’ve been forced to forgive myself for my procrastinating ways and inhibitions. But I’m here to claim my throne and my position. I’m not insecure, I’m self-critical, so take a listen.
The mirror of the cypher reflects it all. Your flaws, your fire, the rise, and the fall. It shows you who you are, no disguise and no pretense. But that’s where the journey to greatness begins. When you embrace what you see, faults, flaws and all. That’s the moment where you learn to stand tall.

The floor don’t lie, it’s where we carve our names
From rookie to veteran OG, were move like one. Each one teach one and tells a story to unfold, Of unity and victory and souls that turned bold. On the concrete, we not just steppin, we connect, Collectiveness in motion in an ocean of respect. It’s deeper than the moves, it’s where spirit ignites,
Where weakness fades, and darkness dims under the streetlight.

No kings, no pawns, just warriors in sync, One tribe, one rhythm, breaking past the brink. Together we rise, like the beat from the crate, Unstoppable force, we control our own fate. In every spin, every freeze, there’s hope and there is grace, This cypher’s our temple where we all find our space.

Every time you step in the circle, it’s a rebirth, A chance to redefine what this movement is worth. It’s a souls elevation, A place where you get a chance to build a foundation. You break free, reinvent, every spin’s a reset, No limits here, just the heights you ain’t hit yet. The circle’s your canvas, you paint with your feet, Each step a reflection of the struggle in the heat.

You dig deeper, with every hit of the beat, Discovering layers that make you more complete. It’s a conversation without a need for the mic, Your body speaks the truths that the world can not bite. We’re all searching and we all tryin’ to grow, In the circle, we teach, we learn, we flow. So step in with heart, let your spirit be seen, In this space, we rise, we break free, and we dream.

Not just him, not just you, not just me, But all of us together, can sculpt what we dream to be. In hiphop we celebrate our talents, the lives we’ve built apart, But the power of community—that’s truly our art.”
